2025 BARCELONA painting holiday
Fantastic painting holiday in Barcelona and Sitges in Spain. Sightsee and paint at different incredible landmarks: Park Guell, park of National museum of art of Catalonia, Ciutadella park, gorgeous costal scene in Sitges. Stroll down Las Ramblas. Free day to visit Sagrada Familia or Gaudi’s Casa Batllo (optional).

Important: You must be able to walk at a normal pace around Barcelona and on our outings.
Weekly schedule:
Day 1: Arrival. First dinner with wine.
Day 2: Breakfast. From about 10.00 to 12.00 AM: Demo for watercolour beginners (recommended medium). More experienced artists or artist who have chosen others mediums will be able to try their materials out while doing a still life or painting a scene from a photo. Lunch at a local restaurant. Afternoon sightseeing at Las Ramblas with a painting session at gorgeous Plaça Reial. You’ll love painting its arches and palm trees. Dinner with wine at a local restaurant.
DAY 3: Breakfast, Morning sightseeing at beautiful Park Guell, a true landmark of Barcelona. Lunch and afternoon painting session there. You’ll see its famous colourful endless mosaic bench with beautiful views of Barcelona, marvellous architecture… Dinner with wine.
DAY 4: Breakfast. Optional painting session to work on any unfinished paintings. Lunch at a local restaurant. We will then head for Plaza de España and to our painting outing at (the park of) National museum of art of Catalonia. You’ll love its waterfalls and wonderful architecture. Dinner with wine at a local restaurant.
DAY 5: Breakfast. Free day. Why not visit Antoni GAUDI’s masterpiece: Casa Batllo or Barcelona’s most famous landmark, the Sagrada Familia
DAY 6: Breakfast. Day painting outing in the beautiful coastal town of Sitges. We will sightsee in the morning, have lunch and paint there in the afternoon. Back to Barcelona for dinner with wine.
DAY 7: Breakfast. Free morning. Painting outing at fabulous Ciutadella park.
DAY 8: Breakfast and goodbyes. Check-out at 10 AM.
Mobility: If you are generally relatively fit, you can skip this part.
Test: I can walk 25 to 30 minutes at a time at a normal pace and climb two flights of stairs without it being strenuous.
