About Mykonos: Mykonos, part of the Cyclades, is an 85.5 KM2 Greek island in the Aegean Sea situated between Syros, Tinos, Paros and Naxos. Its population is around 11000 inhabitants. Mykonos is known for its night life and beautiful beaches, but it is also filled with a dynamic vibrancy making it a true paradise from an artist’s point of view.

After 4 years of touring Santorini, AZENART PAINTING HOLIDAYS is now ready to tour Mykonos in 2026. This art holiday is limited to 8 participants!

What's included in our Mykonos Greece art holiday?

• TUITION (Learn or improve composition, colour dynamics, values, perspective and more.) Beginners welcome!

• Art MATERIALS are provided for watercolours or drawing (recommended mediums). Paints, paintbrushes/pencils, aprons, small accessories like tape etc. Other mediums (for more experienced artists) are pastels, acrylics, oils or gouache.

• EQUIPMENT is provided on this Santorini painting holiday. Board and stool. Optional easel for acrylics or oils.

• HOTEL WITH A SWIMMING POOL: 7 nights in an ENSUITE ROOM at a hotel on Mykonos island.

• Per person: £175 Booking payment + £1690 per person for the week. ALL RESTAURANT MEALS INCLUDED (except on the free day).

• Per person: £175 Booking payment + £1490 per person for the week: BREAKFAST ONLY. (You pay for your meals separately; Perfect for light eaters or special diets).

You are coming with a NON-PAINTER, friend or partner and wish to share an ENSUITE ROOM in Double Occupancy:

• Painter: £175 Booking payment + £1990 per person for the week. Non-painter: £1090 (everything listed included except for art materials, art equipment and tutoring). ALL RESTAURANT MEALS INCLUDED (except on the free day).

• Painter: £175 Booking payment + £1750 per person for the week. Non-painter: £990 (everything listed included except for art materials, art equipment and tutoring). BREAKFAST ONLY. (You pay for your meals separately; Perfect for light eaters or special diets).

Not included: Getting to Mykonos accommodation, meals on the free day in the All Meals plan. City tax (+- £2.00 per night pp), minibar consumptions if applicable, personal travel insurance. Drinks or snacks outside of meals.

PRACTICAL INFORMATION: Mykonos International Airport is 11 minutes away from our hotel by taxi (very easy and direct). Buses also available.

TYPICAL DAILY SCHEDULE:

DAY 1 Meet up at the accommodation in Mykonos at 6.00 PM. The airport is just 11 minutes away from the hotel. Dinner with a glass at the hotel’s lovely restaurant. Let the fun begin!!!

DAY 2 Breakfast with the group or on your own, when ready. Hand out of materials and equipment for the week. Late morning DEMO by the pool followed by a delicious lunch. Afternoon painting session in Chora (see picture below) painting a red dome with a unique visual charm participants will never forget! The tutor will do a follow-along watercolour demo for beginners or participants who wish to follow the demo. She will help with composition, shaping, colour, values. Free time to visit Little Venice, a lovely waterfront shopping area. Dinner at a local restaurant.

DAY 3 Breakfast (whenever you are ready). Optional late morning painting session for those who would like to work on finishing their painting, or on practicing techniques tested during the demo. Lunch at a local restaurant, followed by a 10 minute drive (private chauffeured van) to immaculate white Panagia Paraportiani! Free time to walk drink cocktails and visit the area. Dinner at a local restaurant.

DAY 4 Breakfast (whenever you are ready). Optional late morning painting session for those who would like to work on finishing their painting, or on practicing techniques tested during the demo. Lunch at a local restaurant, followed by a 10 minute drive (private chauffeured van) for a painting session at Mykonos’ famous windmill! Free time in the area to shop or relax. Dinner at a local restaurant.

DAY 5 Breakfast (whenever you are ready). Free day. (No group meals on this day). Groups typically plan an outing together, but some participants choose to rest, stay by the pool, paint, and relax… There is plenty to do on the island; Boat outings, museums (Archeological Museum of Mykonos, Aegean Maritime Museum, or the Folklore or Agriculture museums), shopping, food, wine, etc.!

DAY 6 Breakfast. A new day begins with a day trip to DELOS ISLAND, a few nautical miles by boat from Mykonos. (Cruise ticket and entry to the archeological site included). The group will discover the ‘Island of the Gods’. Delos island is the birth place of APOLLO and Artemis in Greek mythology. In ancient times, this island was so sacred that laws prevented anyone from being born or dying on the island. Delos island is a vast open-air site with the ruins of Sacred Harbour (marble lions lining the Lion Terrace), the Theatre District and the Sanctuary of Apollo, among many other site interests. The morning is spent sightseeing, followed by lunch on the island, and an afternoon painting session. Return cruise, followed by a delicious dinner back on Mykonos island!

DAY 7 Breakfast. Optional late morning painting session by the pool to finish any unfinished paintings. Lunch. Painting session on the centre of the island (20 minutes drive in our private chauffeured van), where we will paint a beautiful red dome, representative of Mykonos. Dinner at a restaurant.

DAY 8 Breakfast and goodbyes!

MOBILITY: There is no need to be an athlete to attend this holiday, however you must be able to walk at a normal pace alongside the group.
